When it comes to living a healthy lifestyle, there are no one-size-fits-all solutions.  We each have different personalities, strengths and weaknesses, schedules, and different sets of challenges.  Learning the steps to optimum health is one thing, but actually applying those steps in our own lives can prove to be difficult and seem impossible.  You may have a busy schedule and find it hard to fit exercise into your routine consistently. Or you may be a single person living alone and find it easier to grab a meal at a convenient store or fast food joint than cook a healthy meal for one at home.  Whatever your challenges, you know they stand between you and your goal and are wondering how to overcome them.

This is where a health coach can help! 

As a health coach, I can help you:

  • Clarify what you really want.
  • Close the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.
  • Get clear on your true motivation, the compelling reasons for improving your health that propel you successfully to your goals.
  • Set achievable action steps for quick wins that build your confidence.
  • Overcome limiting beliefs and self-defeating mindsets.

Coaching can be done in person if you live locally, or by phone.  We begin with an online health assessment and an initial session,  where we can get to know each other, look at where you are now and where you want to go, what challenges you are facing, and set some initial goals. After that, we meet regularly, usually once a week for about 30 minutes, to review your progress, address any challenges, and set new action steps. I require that you make a three month commitment to your coaching program, because it usually takes at least 3 months to see significant results and create new habits that will last. The goal is not quick fixes, but a healthy lifestyle that brings health for a lifetime!
